Grants Database

In addition to the GO Grants that are awarded by the GO Virginia State Board and research-related grant funds awarded by the Virginia Research Investment Committee (VRIC) there are many other grant opportunities in Virginia and from the federal government through its agencies.

These grants are available to entrepreneurs, educators, developers, and individuals that are seeking to grow Virginia’s economy through transformational projects. Some of these grants could be used to leverage GO Grants or to otherwise help regions advance the needs and opportunities outline in their respective growth and diversification plans.

As the GO Virginia Foundation identifies grant opportunities that are related to GO Virginia priorities, we will highlight some projects on this page. The below list is not an exhaustive list of all grant sources. If you would like to review the full list of funded projects you can do so here.
