About the GO Virginia Foundation

The Virginia Growth and Opportunity Foundation is a private, 501(c)(3) organization that provides support to the state’s Virginia Growth and Opportunity Board and the nine Regional Councils by helping to collect and disseminate best practices relating to regional economic and workforce development. Additionally, the Foundation will help coordinate efforts to build expertise and working groups around the various areas of opportunity as identified by the State Board.

The Foundation also maintains this website to provide updated information about the GO Virginia Initiative and to advocate for its growth.
